The concert programme consists of the most famous works of Peter Ilyich Tchaikovsky.

We will listen to Polonaise from the opera Eugene Onegin, the most performed piano concert of all time, and a selection of ballet music inspired by The Nutcracker story. At the piano will sit Bulgarian pianist Irina Georgieva, a former pupil of the renowned Rudolf Buchbinder who has lived and worked in Basel for several years. The baton will be taken by Christian Knüsel, a conductor well-known to Olomouc's audience, who will also lead the Moravian Philharmonic on its January tour in Switzerland.
