Piano Recital of Matyáš Novák „Dears of Mine…“
Matyáš Novák, a top representative of the younger generation of Czech pianists, gave his recital the title „Dears of Mine…“, which gives the impression of a certain closeness to the audience the protagonist strives for in his performances. He is helped by the presenter of his concert, none other than Count František Kinský, a direct descendant of the famous aristocratic Kinský family. Musically, the programme is devoted to the compositions by Dvořák, Suk, Janáček and Smetana. In addition to original works dedicated to piano, Matyáš Novák will introduce Czech artificial music in its entirety by including opera and symphonic works, especially in his arrangements.
