29. 11. 2024

Reduta Hall, 19.00
D1

The year 2024 was proclaimed as the year of Austrian culture in Olomouc. Together with one of the greatest experts on the works of Anton Bruckner, Austrian conductor Martin Sieghart, we will celebrate the important anniversary of this great Romantic symphonist – 200 years since his birth. The composer’s third symphony, finished during his stay in Mariánské Lázně, will be performed. The first half of the evening will feature the Kukal Quartet, a young Czech ensemble that has already established itself internationally. Especially for this occasion, they will perform the Concerto for String Quartet and Orchestra by Arnold Schönberg, more precisely, his more open arrangement of Arcangelo Corelli’s concerto grosso in the neoclassical style.
