Pavel Nikl, a leading Czech violinist, has gained numerous experiences on many world stages as a member of the famous Pavel Haas Quartet, but recently, he has also been conducting. He will take a solo part in the Viola Concerto by Georg Philipp Telemann and Trauermusik by Paul Hindemith. From the conductor’s podium, he will lead the popular Saint Paul‘s Suite by Gustav Holst and, together with the best musicians of the MFO, perform Mendelssohn’s Octet, a gem of chamber literature of the Romantic period.
